So this week I decided to attend the State Fair of Texas here in Dallas, the largest state fair in attendance. It's been a couple of years since I had been to it. I had always gone with my family so I really didn't know how expensive stuff there really was since I wasn't paying for anything at the time. This year I went with my girlfriend and discovered the price for everything. We walked around for a while deciding on what to do. We didn't go on any rides except the Texas Star, which is North America's largest ferris wheel, but we thought it would be a good idea to try out some of the food. We had fried cheesecake which was delicious and corny dogs which were good too. The one thing which we really REALLY wanted to try were the fried Twinkies. We walked around the place but we didn't find a single booth with them. I did discover the fried beer, but unfortunately I could not try it. I've heard mixed reviews on it, so I guess it depends on the individual. So instead I'll post some videos of people trying it this year at the fair.
TL;DR State fair is expensive, fried food is delicious.

Carbonite
Then I looked on my wall and found a Periodic Table poster taken out of Popular Science.
That's how I came up with Fictional Element. Then for my profile picture I decided i would just do a Google image search and use the first result. The first thing that came up was Han Solo frozen in Carbonite. So I guess as a tribute to one of my favorite movie series, mostly parts IV-VI, I'll leave a pretty memorable scene in the series.

Reach
So i haven't updated in a few days, and originally my goal was to post something new everyday or every other day. The reason for not updating is that I recently bought Halo: Reach and a 12 month Xbox Live subscription. So consequently I've been occupied with that. In a addition to that, I've also been spending more time with my girlfriend this past week, since today she left for the weekend with her mom and brother to visit her grandma in Wisconsin and I wouldn't be able to see her at all. So I apologize if any followers have visited the blog only to see two posts that they've already seen in the past. I think this will be the post for today, but not to worry, I already have something in mind for the next post. Also I have a Netflix 30 day trial, so if you have any interesting/cool movies you think I should watch please write them in the comments.

Pokémon Apokélypse
Sure it's a fan-film, but I think I would much rather watch this than Dragonball: Evolution. Hopefully they're not making anymore Dragonball movies like that one. I still can't get over Brock smoking at the beginning, and his eyes. Maybe one day we'll see a GOOD Pokemon live-action movie.
